Melon and Pineapple 250g

Jam of yesteryear.  Jam Melons are grown by us and our father Ken.  Melon’s have the flesh of a watermelon and the inside is yellow and bitter.  Once peeled and chopped sprinkle it with sugar to sit overnight to release juices.  It is paired with Pineapple together this flavour bonds so well it just wants you going back for more.  I love this in my banana tea cake with fresh whipped cream and a spread of Melon and Pineapple Jam…….perhaps need a cup of tea now !!!!!!
